CERCİS
(A.S.) : (Circis) Taberi tarihine göre: İsâ Aleyhisselâmdan sonra gelmiş ve Filistinde yaşamış ve onun şeriatı ile amel etmiş olan bir peygamberdir. Yedi sene içersinde tebliğde bulunarak çok işkencelere maruz kalmış, müteaddid defalar öldürülmüş ve mu'cize ile dirilerek tekrar tebliğ vazifesine devam etmiştir. Kendisine düşmanlık eden kavim ateşle helâk edilmiştir. En sonunda yine Cercis Aleyhisselâm şehid edilmiştir.
